A Lackawanna man has been accused of sexually assaulting a 19-year-old woman, Erie County sheriff's deputies said Tuesday.
Marvin Huff, 40, of Wood Yard Way, pleaded innocent Monday night in Concord Town Court to felony charges of sodomy, sexual abuse, unlawful imprisonment and reckless endangerment, and a misdemeanor count of assault. He also was charged with driving while intoxicated.
Huff was sent to the Erie County Holding Center after not posting $25,000 bail.
Deputy Steve Meerbooth was flagged down early Sunday by a woman who was in the middle of Route 219 in the Town of Concord, according to Sheriff Patrick Gallivan, who said the woman fled from a car driven by Huff, which was idling nearby.
The woman told authorities that Huff attacked her after refusing her request to be taken home.
