Farmers in Erie, Chautauqua and Cattaraugus counties who suffered damage or loss due to the severe storms and flooding that occurred June 25 through July 10 are eligible for disaster emergency-loan assistance from the Farm Service Agency, formerly the Farmers Home Administration.

Family farmers who suffered the loss of at least 30 percent of their production or suffered qualifying physical losses from the severe storms and flooding conditions can make applications for the assistance until March 8 at the FSA office, 3542 Turner Road, Jamestown, 14701.
