The opening reception for a Puerto Rican Year exhibition will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. next Sunday in the Castellani Art Museum on the Niagara University campus. Puerto Rican music and food will be part of the reception.

The exhibition, which continues through Jan. 10, examines traditional holidays and festivals with their roots in Puerto Rico that are now observed by members of the Puerto Rican community locally.

They include the Holy Week Way of the Cross procession, the Festival of the Cross of May, the St. John the Baptist Festival and the Three Kings celebrations.
