DEC HEARING SET ON PARK CLEANUP

State Department of Environmental Conservation officials will hold a public meeting at 7 p.m. Oct. 14 to discuss possible changes in cleanup plans for the Gratwick-Riverside Park hazardous waste site.

The North Tonawanda Public Library meeting will discuss changes in the planned shoreline erosion-protection design at the park. Design work is nearly complete, with construction set to start in the spring and finish in the summer of 2000.
