VOLUNTEERS HEAD FOR ATLANTA

Two Red Cross disaster volunteers from Chautauqua County have gone to Atlanta, Ga., to help provide relief after Hurricane Georges makes landfall.

Don Sage of Dunkirk and Ken Kilburn of Jamestown took the Red Cross chapter's emergency response vehicle along, to be used as a mobile mass feeding unit with capability to feed several hundred meals per day.

The pair will report to a Red Cross staging area for deployment this weekend into Florida, Georgia or Louisiana after the hurricane hits.
