A Springville man faces at least 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to producing child pornography and transporting it across state lines.
Federal prosecutors said Albert Ray Ribblett, 42, admitted he took photos of a minor boy and stored them on a computer "zip disc," which he then transported to Florida last February.
U.S. Attorney Denise E. O'Donnell said Ribblett could be sentenced to a minimum prison term of 10 years, and a maximum of 20 years.
U.S. District Judge John T. Elfvin released Ribblett on $5,000 bond, but directed him to wear an electronic monitoring bracelet that will allow probation officers to keep track of his movements. Elfvin also prohibited him from contact with minors or ownership of computer equipment.
