Alfred W. Siever, 65, of 79th Street, who worked at the Goodyear plant for 35 years, died Tuesday (Sept. 22, 1998) at his home while receiving care from Niagara Hospice.
He was born in Niagara Falls and attended local schools. Siever served as a paratrooper in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He worked at Goodyear in the boiler room as a maintenance man, retiring in January 1997.
Siever was a member of LaSalle Post 1142, American Legion.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include two daughters, Jessica Lynn Alexander of San Diego, and Catherine; two sons, James N. and Joseph M.; four brothers, Robert of Granbury, Texas, Charles of San Diego, Edward Siever and Clifford Webb; a sister, Catherine L. of Lockport; four grandchildren; and a dear friend, Joyce LaPolice.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Forest Avenue Church of God, 2002 Forest Ave. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
