NIAGARA UNITED WAY DRIVE REACHES $287,013

Donations and pledges of $287,013 have been collected during the first two weeks of this year's eight-week long fund-raising campaign for the United Way of Niagara, according to Campaign Chairman Jerald I.
Wolfgang.

The donations and pledges amount to about 21 percent of the United Way goal of $1,360,000. Contributions benefit 19 organizations that are members of the United Way, providing more than 150 specialized programs and services in western Niagara County.

The drive will end with a luncheon for campaign workers on Nov. 6.
