Celebrating their 50th anniversary in jazz harmony, the Four Freshmen return to Calumet Arts Cafe, 56 W. Chippewa St., at 8 p.m. Friday. The legendary crooners will also appear with vocalist Lynn Roberts Wednesday at the Hearthstone Manor, 333 Dick Road, Depew. The performance includes a noon luncheon, followed by a show at 1:30 p.m. or dinner at 6:30 p.m., with the show at 8 p.m.

Cowboy Junkies, the popular Canadian group with their alternative sound, performs with Over the Rhine at 8 p.m. today at the Tralfamadore Cafe, 100 Theater Place.

Rudabaga, the New Orleans-based rockers with local originals Bad Ronald, steps on the stage at 9 tonight at the Mohawk Place, 47 E. Mohawk St.

Rhythm and blues recording artists Wayne Horvitz and Zony Mast of Seattle perform their own jazz fusion at 9 p.m. Tuesday at Mohawk Place, 47 E. Mohawk St.

Award-winning country artists Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood come to the Marine Midland Arena stage at 8 p.m. Wednesday. Performances continue through next Monday at 8 p.m., except Sunday at 7 p.m.

Global Village Idiots, the psychoactive rock group, plus Bad Ronald and Syzygy, performs at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Nietzsche's, 248 Allen St.

Original rockers Girl Trouble, with P.W. Long, will perform at 9 p.m. Wednesday at Mohawk Place.

Veteran recording artists .38 Special, ending a recent six-year hiatus, will reunite at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Tralfamadore Cafe, 100 Theater Place.

My Super Spaceout Day, an all-ages event featuring Rocketship 7, The Conservatives, and Painted by Moses, showcases at 10 p.m. Friday at the Showplace Theatre, 1063 Grant St.

Local and out-of-town rock groups, such as Easy Livin', Parasites, Blowtops and Baseball Furies, perform at 11 p.m. Friday at Mohawk Place.

Terry Sullivan's Dollywatchers with DoomBuggy perform at 11 p.m. Friday at Nietzsche's, 248 Allen.

Guitarist Anson Funderberg and the Rockets, with Sam Myers on harmonica and vocals, perform at 10 p.m. Saturday in the Lafayette Tap Room, 320 Pearl St.

The dual all-women bands Ethyl and Moxie perform at 10 p.m. Saturday at Nietzsche's Hot Rod Chicks and Drag Night, 248 Allen.

The Toronto-based Sadies perform at 11 p.m. Saturday at Mohawk Place.

The Annual Free For All Concert of over 20 musicians, hosted by the Newton Street Irregulars will be presented at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Fredonia Opera House, 9-11 Church St., Fredonia.

The Building of Hip Hop, apoetry and jazz musical event with the Fountain of Youth, Outrite Smoove, Young Gods and Sound Mission perform at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Calumet Arts Cafe, 56 W. Chippewa St.
