EAST SIDE GIRL, 5, INJURED IN DOMESTIC DISPUTE

A 5-year-old East Side girl was injured in one of three separate domestic disputes over the weekend resulting in the arrest of three women.

Stephanie Conner of 22 Newton St. was visiting her aunt, Colleen Schwartz, 28, of 211 Detroit St. on Saturday when a dispute broke out between the aunt and her boyfriend, according to Broadway Station officers.

Police said Ms. Schwartz threw a large mug at her boy friend, missing him and striking her niece.

The child was listed in good condition at Children's Hospital, where she underwent surgery for a skull fracture and a five-inch laceration of the forehead.

Ms. Schwartz was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.

In a domestic dispute on Sunday, Twanda C. Cade, 33, of 16 Cambridge Ave., was arrested and charged with stabbing Michael Pierce in the left leg and left arm at that address, according to police. Pierce was treated at Buffalo General Hospital.

Central District police also reported that Wendy C. Ground, 30, of no permanent address, broke a window and entered the home of Efrain Hildalgo of 262 Seventh St. on Saturday night, in violation of an order of protection.

Police said the woman cut the telephone lines, damaged a television set and fan and attempted to stab Hildalgo. She was charged with criminal mischief, criminal possession of a weapon, felony burglary and attempted felony assault.
