FLOOD BENEFIT TO BE HELD TODAY

An all-day benefit for flood victims of the Arcade area will be held today in the Arcade Fire Hall on Route 98.

Festivities, to begin at noon, will include a chicken barbecue and a Chinese-style auction of such items as an autographed football from Buffalo Bills defensive end Phil Hansen.

Flood victims from Arcade, Chaffee, Sardinia, Delevan and Yorkshire will be helped by the benefit, according to organizer Stan Krolick.

The 11-member Pioneer Association of Churches, known, as PAC, has established a flood relief fund. Donations can be mailed to the association, P.O. Box 34, Arcade, N.Y. 14009, Krolick said.

Admission to the benefit, expected to last until 7 p.m., is $7 for adults and $4 for children ages 6 through 12.

There is no charge for children younger than 6.
