Parker Bohn III finished with a 24-7-1 record and 248 average and held the spot heading to the finals of the Japan Cup, which features the top 16 players from the PBA tour and the Japanese PBA.

Bohn, the PBA leader this year with three wins and more than $115,000 in earnings, won the Japan Cup in 1992.

Walter Ray Williams Jr. was second with 8,506 pins, 169 behind Bohn. Steve Jaros was third with 8,378 pins. Buffalo's Tom Baker finished 30th with 7,332 total pins and won $2,400.
