Three people suffered minor injuries this weekend when two vehicles collided head-on on Route 417 in Weston Mills, according to Cattaraugus County sheriff's deputies.
A vehicle in the westbound lane, driven by Ruthie A. Carr, turned into a vehicle driven by Lisa M. Shoup, who was traveling east, around 3 p.m. Saturday about 20 feet west of Promised Land Road, deputies said.
Ms. Carr, 26, of Portville, was taken by ambulance to Olean General Hospital, where she was treated for bumps and bruises. Ms. Shoup, 27, of Olean, also was taken to Olean General and treated for injuries to her head and hand. Ms. Shoup's passenger, Ronald L. Danielson, 33, of Bradford, Pa., was treated for a cut to his head. Kaitlin M. Bhe, 5, also was riding in Ms. Shoup's vehicle but was not injured, deputies said.
Ms. Carr was charged with making an improper left turn, according to police.
