KERMIT A. HASELEY, DAIRYMAN, VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTER

Kermit A. Haseley, 76, a retired dairy farmer on Saunders Settlement Road, died Saturday (Aug. 29, 1998) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, after a brief illness.

He was born in the Town of Niagara and attended local schools.

In addition to operating the family farm, Haseley was a volunteer firefighter. He was an exempt member of Sanborn Fire Company and played in its band for about 40 years.

He was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church on Walmore Road.

Haseley enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling and gardening.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, the former Janice Werth; a son Rodney; a brother, Franklin of Florida; a sister, Alice Wolf; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 6168 Walmore Road, Wheatfield. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
