Athor Temple 19, Daughters of the Nile, will have its annual Food, Friendship, Fun and Fruit Festival Saturday, starting at 5 p.m., in St. Stephens-Bethlehem United Church of Christ, Amherst. There will be a potluck supper, Chinese auction and fresh peach desserts. Margaret K. Voltmann is chairwoman. Mary Ellen Hamman and Beverly Graber are in charge of the supper. Josephine E. Hopkins is chairwoman of desserts and Arlene Wolffe is auction chairwoman. Plans for the 66th anniversary observance of Pro-To Club of Buffalo will be discussed at a meeting and luncheon Saturday at 11 a.m. in University Inn. Anita Osborne is in charge of the celebration. Inge Clements will present a budget for the coming year. Luncheon reservations are being taken by Sylvia Chmiel and Ms. Clements. Beechwood Service Guild will honor its officers and church representatives at a luncheon Sept. 9 at noon in Beechwood Residence. Joyce Perry and Shirley Bennett are taking reservations.

Ruth Hutchinson and Sue Tague will be hostesses at a party for Volunteer Board of Erie County Medical Center Thursday at 11:30 a.m. in the hospital. Board members will meet Sept. 14 at 10 a.m. in the hospital.

Marion Glawatz will speak on the life of Marie Curie at a meeting of the Students' Club Sept. 9 in the home of Mary Karrer in Williamsville. Marjorie Rugg and Donna Szabo will assist the hostess. Jen Ann Burger of Kevin Guest House will speak at a salad bar luncheon for United Methodist Women of Christ United Methodist Church, Snyder, Sept. 10 at noon in the church hall. Plans for the fall meeting will be made when the board of the Honorarians of Buffalo Federation of Women's Clubs meets Sept. 10 at 10:30 a.m. in the home of Carole McDade. West Side Chapter, Home Bureau, will have a membership tea Sept. 8 at noon in Forest Avenue Christian Church.
