Performing the marriage ceremony for Susan Lynn Sheffield and Gregor Jay Gordon at 3 p.m. Saturday in Brighton Community Church, Town of Tonawanda, were the Rev. Stanley Goeckle of Bluffton, Ind., the Rev. Robert M. Yetter of St. Mary Catholic Church, Swormville, and the Rev. Louyse Lee.

Mr. and Mrs. David Sheffield of Amherst are parents of the bride and Mr. and Mrs. Rory Gordon of East Amherst are the bridegroom's parents. A reception was given in Samuel's Grande Manor. The newly married couple will travel to the Caribbean.

The bride is a senior and Air Force ROTC cadet in Bowling Green State University. An office services associate with Ingram Micro Inc., the bridegroom served in the Navy. They are graduates of Williamsville North High School.

Mrs. Zywiczynski
A reception was given in Father Justin Council, Knights of Columbus, hall after the wedding of Heather J. Bushway and James M. Zywiczynski Saturday at noon in Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Elma. The Rev. Richard Wycykiewicz of Devon, Pa., performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward D. Bushway II of East Aurora and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Zywiczynski of Ocala, Fla., formerly of Holland.

A graduate of Nardin Academy and Geneseo State College, the bride is a financial analyst at M&T Bank. The bridegroom, a graduate of Holland Central High School and Alfred State College of Technology, is employed by Koerner and Stevenson Inc. in Holland, where they will be at home.

Mrs. Battaglia
The Rev. Patrick J. Zengierski of Infant of Prague Catholic Church performed the marriage ceremony for Lisa Danielle Jarembek and Brian David Battaglia at 2 p.m. Saturday in Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Clarence. A reception was given in Shepherds restaurant for the daughter of Victoria and Eugene Jarembek of Williamsville and the son of Cindy and Sam Battaglia of East Amherst. After a trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple will live in Phoenix, Ariz., where the bridegroom is an electrical engineer with Motorola Inc. He is an alumnus of Sweet Home High School and cum laude graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology where he earned master's degree. The bride, a graduate of Williamsville East High School and Buffalo State College, was employed by Paychex Inc.

Mrs. Burke
Nannette M. Anderson and Timothy M. Burke were married by Monsignor James J. Lichtenthal at 2 p.m. Saturday in Christ the King Catholic Church, Snyder. A reception given in Knights of St. John Club Room for the daughter of Sheila P. Anderson of Amherst and the late Dennis N. Anderson and the son of Barry L. and Patricia A. Burke of Town of Tonawanda. A graduate of Amherst Central High School, the bride attended Erie Community College and is a hostess with CA-ONE Services at U.S.Airways Club, Buffalo/Niagara International Airport. The bridegroom, a manager for DiMarco's of Western New York, served in the Army and is a graduate of Kenmore East High School and Army Infantry School, Fort Benning, Ga. They will live in Cheektowaga after a trip to Cape Cod, Mass.

Mrs. Rank
Jennifer Lynn Jasinski and Robert Joseph Rank, graduates of West Seneca East High School, exchanged nuptial vows Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, West Seneca. The Rev. Peter J. Cronin performed the ceremony.

A reception was given in Salvatore's Italian Gardens for the daughter of Matthew and Christine Jasinski of West Seneca and the stepson and son of Anthony and Linda Kardysauskas of McCormick, S.C., formerly of Buffalo.

After a trip to Las Vegas, Nev., the newly married couple will be at home in Newark, Del., where the bride is a loan officer with MBNA Bank. She is a graduate of Fredonia State College. The bridegroom served in the Navy and is a commercial sales representative of ADT Security Services Inc., New Castle, Del.

Mrs. Gunning
Kelly Lynn Tedesco and Robert Joseph Gunning Jr. were married Saturday at 2 p.m. in St. Paul United Church of Christ by the Rev. Wayne E. Sova. Linda L. and Santo G. Tedesco Sr. of West Seneca are the bride's parents. The bridegroom is the son of Mary Ann Gunning of Blasdell and stepson and son of Donna and Robert Gunning Sr. of Hamburg. A reception was given in Iron Workers Hall. After a cruise to the Bahamas and a trip to Florida, the couple will live in West Seneca. They are employed by Father Baker Manor, the bride as a licensed practical nurse and the bridegroom in maintenance. She is a graduate of West Seneca West High School and Erie I Board of Cooperative Educational Services. He is a graduate of Lake Shore Central High School and Alfred State College of Technology.

Mrs. Lageman
Marriage vows exchanged by Sheri Lynn Burke and Glen C. Lageman at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Elma, were heard by the Rev. Jeffrey J. Sturmer of St. Andrew Church, Town of Tonawanda.

Parents of the bride are William F. Burke of Lancaster and the late Mary L. Burke. Mary L. Lageman of Cheektowaga and the late William Lageman are the bridegroom's parents. A reception was given in Ripa's Restaurant. After a trip to Cancun, Mexico, the newly married couple will be at home in West Seneca.

A graduate of Niagara University, the bride is employed at Kenmore Family Medicine. The bridegroom, an Erie Community College graduate, is a painter with Esscorp Inc. They are Maryvale High School graduates.

Mrs. Diakhate
Bernadette Danielle Duguay, daughter of Mark G. and Andrea Duguay of North Tonawanda, was married to Amadou Lamine Diakhate of New York City at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Christopher Catholic Church. The Rev. Edward F. Jost Jr. performed the ceremony for the bride and the son of Moustapha and Rokayatou Diakhate of Senegal, West Africa. A reception was given in Daffodil's Restaurant before the couple left for Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ont.

A graduate of Oswego State College and University at Buffalo, the bride has a master's degree in clinical social work from Fordham University and is a therapist in Training Institute for Mental Health, Manhattan. The bridegroom is a graduate of Borough of Manhattan Community College and is a chef in Houlihan's Restaurant, Manhattan.
