Television star and cancer survivor Robert Urich, riding high as captain of the Love Boat, will be at the helm of this year's Hollywood Christmas Parade.
The former star of "Vega$," "Spencer for Hire" and "The Lazarus Man" was named grand marshal for 67th annual holiday parade through the heart of Hollywood.
Urich heads a cruise ship on UPN's "Love Boat, the Next Wave." The Christmas parade, featuring celebrities, floats and marching bands, will be broadcast nationwide Nov. 29 by UPN.
Urich, 51, underwent chemotherapy, radiation treatments and two operations in the mid-1990s to successfully fight synovial cell sarcoma. He has been cancer-free for more than a year.
