Roberto Duran said no mas. Yet again.
In a sad ending to a once illustrious boxing career, Duran was stopped in the third round of a WBA middleweight title fight by a man two decades younger than him.
The 47-year-old Duran, thought to be retired several times already, said this was it for his 31-year boxing career.
"I am finished," Duran (102-14) said after losing to faster, stronger champion William Joppy (26-1-1).
"This was kind of a sad victory for me," Joppy said. "Roberto Duran is a great legend. I've watched him fight since I was a kid. It's my time now."
