CONNECTICUT LOTTERY SET FOR SECURE NEW BUILDING

Six months after a shooting at its headquarters left five people dead, the Connecticut Lottery Corp. is preparing to move into a new building with security measures designed to make its 115 employees feel safe again.

The new offices, set to open Sept. 8 in a renovated building in New Britain, will have bullet-resistant glass, 35 closed-circuit security cameras and segregated work areas accessible only with electronic identification cards.

March 6, an employee shot and killed four top executives and himself.
