Sea Air Holidays Ltd., based in Stamford, Conn., said it would become the first U.S. company in more than two decades to offer a cruise itinerary that includes Iran, according to Travel Weekly.
Beginning in November, the first of 11 Persian Gulf cruises is scheduled to depart Dubai, United Arab Emirates, aboard the 56-passenger Monet. It will include a call in the southern Iranian port of Bandar Abbas to visit ancient baths, mosques and other cultural points.
