As a concerned citizen of New York, I am writing to urge our lawmakers in Washington to pass legislation that will drastically decrease or eliminate New York's high acid rain.
I live near a small, but beautiful, lake and definitely do not want to see it devoid of wildlife or plant life like many other small lakes in our state.
I have known many children with environmentally caused respiratory problems that could possibly have been prevented if our legislators had done something sooner.
Don't wait until it's too late, before New York is permanently wiped clean of any life. Fix the problem now before our children have no future to look forward to.
