KENMORE HIKER, 17, HURT IN ZOAR VALLEY FALL

A Kenmore teen was listed in fair condition at the Erie County Medical Center today after falling off two cliffs Thursday while hiking in Cattaraugus County.

Brian Kline, 17, 1742 Military Road, was hiking with two friends at the Zoar Valley Gorge when he slipped and fell about 10 feet from the top of a waterfall onto the top of another cliff.

Kline rolled over from that cliff and fell another 20 feet to the shale rock below, according to Cattaraugus County sheriff deputies.

The victim was transported from the scene by emergency helicopter to the medical center, where he is being treated for multiple injuries.
