HOLLAND PLANNING RECEPTION FOR NEW SUPERINTENDENT

A reception for new Holland Central School Superintendent Annemarie Spadafora will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the elementary school's Japanese Garden.

Mrs. Spadafora, who starts her new job that day, comes from the Liverpool School District near Syracuse, where she was an executive principal. She will earn $92,000 a year at Holland.

She replaces Interim Superintendent George Weissenburger, who will return to his former post as elementary principal, until he retires at the end of the year. Weissenburger replaced longtime Superintendent Peter G. Roswell, who assumed the superintendency of the Hamburg School District at the beginning of the year.
