Edith Stoneman, 77, of Canandaigua, a member and former president of the Erie County Home Bureau, died Wednesday (Aug. 26, 1998) in Thompson Continuing Care Center after a lengthy illness.

Born in Canaseraga, she received her bachelor's degree in education from Buffalo State Teachers College in 1943 and was a member of the Alumni Association.

A longtime Buffalo resident, she was a member of Cleveland Drive Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Wlos of Ontario Center and Diane Fudalik of Canandaigua; a brother, Seth Coombs of Cortland; and four grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Kennedy & Son Funeral Home, Canandaigua. Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery, Pendleton.
