Clarence Town Board members voted this week to approve several building projects.

They include:

A development plan for "Arden Courts," a 60-bed assisted-living facility for Alzheimer's patients proposed for 8100 Sheridan Drive by ManorCare Health Systems of Maryland.

A proposed 16-unit residence hall planned by the Brothers of Mercy, 4520 Ransom Road property.

2,500-square-foot addition at Eastern Transit Plaza, 5445 Transit Road.

In new home development, developer Dominic Piestrak received unanimous approval from the Town Board for an additional 11 residential lots in his Spaulding Lake subdivision. Developer Bernie Kieffer also won unanimous approval for an additional 11 residential lots in the Highland Farms subdivision.
