STEPHENS EULOGIZED IN KENTUCKY SERVICE

Woody Stephens was buried Wednesday in Lexington, Ky., as mourners remembered the Hall of Fame trainer for a surpassing love of horses and people.

"If you knew Woody, he was your friend and you loved him," Claiborne Farm owner Seth Hancock said in eulogizing Stephens, 84, who died Saturday in Miami Lakes, Fla., of emphysema.

Stephens trained 11 Eclipse Award-winning horses.
