The Orchard Park Senior Center is registering for fall classes, most of which begin the first week of September,
"We have a variety of fitness classes, ranging from aerobics to tai chi and tap-dancing, beginning Spanish, duplicate bridge for beginners and watercolor painting," director Anna Willems said.
Most of the courses cost from $20 and $35 and last from eight to 16 weeks. The courses are open to anyone older than 55, regardless of residency.
"Our computer courses begin Sept. 9, but since they are small and tailored to individual needs and skills, people interested in them should attend a free one-hour orientation at 10 a.m Sept. 2 or 3," Ms. Willems said. Computer courses will have four students and one teacher and will be offered Monday mornings or Thursday afternoons. For more information, visit the center at 70 Linwood Ave. or call 662-6452.
