Henrietta King, a retired bookkeeper, died Sunday (Aug. 23, 1998) in her Lockport Street home while under the care of Niagara Hospice. She was 77.
She was born Henrietta Warren in Buffalo. Her family moved to Lockport when she was a child, and she attended Charlotte Cross School. She married and moved to Youngstown in 1939.
Mrs. King worked as a bookkeeper at Youngstown Cold Storage Co. for 25 years, retiring in 1986.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, the Youngstown Senior Citizens and the Youngstown Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.
Mrs. King enjoyed knitting, traveling and tending her flower garden.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Arthur G.; a son, William A. of Prescott, Ariz.; and two grandsons.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Sept. 8 in Riverdale Cemetery, 5606 Lewiston Road, Lewiston.
