BAIRD GROUP RAISES ITS STAKE TO 19.7% IN TAYLOR DEVICES

A group led by Buffalo investor Brent D. Baird has increased its stake in Taylor Devices Inc. to 19.7 percent, according to a filing he made Tuesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The group, which includes several Baird family members and the Cameron Baird Foundation, paid $137,492 to acquire 40,000 shares of the North Tonawanda shock absorber manufacturer's stock at $3.44 per share on Aug. 10.

The Baird group, which is Taylor Devices' largest shareholder, previously bought 20,000 shares at $3.50 per share, on July 24.

In all, the Baird group now owns 543,900 shares of Taylor Devices stock.
