Stanley F. Kowalczyk of Quaker Road, a retired supervisor at the former Flintkote Co. in Lockport, died Sunday (Aug. 23, 1998) in the Odd Fellow & Rebekah Health Care Facility, Lockport. He was 83.
A native of Niagara Falls and former resident of Lockport, he worked for 27 years as a supervisor at the company before his retirement in 1967.
He was an avid card player and enjoyed sports.
His wife, Josephine, died in 1989.
Survivors include a son, David of Warsaw; three daughters, Barbara Criswell and Eleanor Dugan, both of Lockport, and Stella Bates; three sisters, Sophie Sherman of Newfane, and Anna Dominski and Josephine Lauzonis, both of Lewiston; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 1726 Quaker Road. Entombment will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Buffalo.
