A man with a shotgun robbed the Uni-Mart store at Saunders Settlement and Cambria-Lewiston Town Line roads at 3:38 a.m. Monday, Deputy Joseph M. Shanley said.

The suspect was described as a man wearing a white hooded sweat shirt and a multicolored bandanna over his face, and possibly gloves. He was 5 feet 9 inches tall and about 150 pounds, Shanley was told by the female clerk.

The robber took an undetermined amount of cash from the register drawer and from another container, and fled west on foot. He was accompanied by a woman wearing the same type of bandanna, Shanley said.

A surveillance videotape of the robbery was turned over to Chief Investigator Ronald J. Meyer, Shanley reported.
