Uriel Segal will conduct the final concert by the Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra this season at 8:15 tonight in the Chautauqua Institution Amphitheater, Route 394, Chautauqua. Bringing the curtain down on the orchestra's 70th season, the group will perform Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5 in E-Flat ( "Emperor" ) and Rachmaninoff's Symphony No. 2 in E minor. The soloist in the "Emperor" Concerto will be pianist Barbara Nissman.
Chautauqua's season finale will feature an annual performance by the Symphonic Winds of the U.S. Air Force Band of Liberty. The concert starts at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the amphitheater.
The Gentlemen of Gospel will give a 7:30 p.m. concert Sunday in the Tralfamadore Cafe, 100 Theater Place.
