LOCKPORT TEEN STRUCK BY HIT-RUN AUTO

A teen-age girl was struck by a hit-and-run vehicle on Charles Street at 1:29 p.m. Monday, Officer
Michael P. Costello said.

Amanda C. Sanney, 14, of 396 West Ave. was released after treatment for a leg injury in Lockport Memorial Hospital.

She told Costello she was walking near the entrance to the parking lot for Lockport Savings Bank's main office when she was hit by a large blue car, driven by a person with short hair. The auto headed south and did not stop,
Costello said.
