Willis R. Wilbur, 60, of Burch Avenue, who had retired from Tam Ceramics, died Saturday (Aug. 22, 1998) in his home after a brief illness.
He was born in Niagara Falls and was a graduate of Bishop Duffy High School.
Wilbur served with the Army from 1962 to 1964.
He had worked in the shipping department of Tam Ceramics for 38 years, retiring in 1997.
Wilbur was an avid sportsman and bowler.
He was a member of the LaSalle Sportsmen's Club, the Niagara River Anglers, the LaSalle Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion LaSalle Post 1142.
Survivors include a stepson, David A. Dussault, and three sisters, Margaret C. Dominski of Wheeling, Ill., Mary L. Rybarczyk of Youngstown and Elizabeth A. Printup of Sanborn.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Leo Catholic Church, 2748 Military Road, Town of Niagara, after services at 9 in Rhoney Funeral Home, 1124 Ontario Ave. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston.
