SHIESLEY STILL SERIOUS FOLLOWING 2-CAR CRASH

Niagara Falls Parks and Public Works Director Ronald C. Shiesley was listed in serious condition Sunday in the intensive-care unit of Erie County Medical Center, three days after being hurt in a car crash in North Tonawanda.

Shiesley, 59, a former Niagara County parks commissioner, underwent surgery for a broken neck shortly after the crash late Thursday at Ward and River roads.

He was among five persons injured in the two-car collision.
