A Bemus Point man was caught inside the Chautauqua Lake Fishing Association building at 10 Chadakoin Parkway early Sunday morning.

Town of Ellicott Police got a call about a burglary in progress. With help from the Chautauqua County Sheriffs Department and the Lakewood-Busti Police they surrounded the building. Officers went in and found Michael J. Hutley of 4183 Pancake Hill Road hiding inside. Hutley was charged with third-degree burglary, trespass, petit larceny, and criminal mischief.
