Two women were treated in Lockport Memorial Hospital Sunday after a two-car accident at South Transit and Summit streets,
Lt. Michael F. Niethe said.

Patricia G. Turk, 37, of 40 South Transit St. said her car was rear-ended at 11:16 a.m. by that of Nina P. Tomaino, 17, of 6142 Wheatfield-Pendleton Town Line Road, Wheatfield. Niethe said at the time, no injuries were reported at the scene.

However, Ms. Turk appeared at the police station at 3:30 p.m. to report that she and her passenger, Brenda L. Longfield, 35, of 286 Chapel St., had driven themselves to Lockport Memorial Hospital later.
