Walter L. Webb, 78, of Pretoria Street, who was formerly a bus driver for the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority, died Saturday (Aug. 22, 1998) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Lewiston and served with the Army during World War II in the European Theater, receiving several medals.
Webb had been a bus driver for the NFTA from 1942 until he retired in 1982.
He enjoyed taking care of birds and animals and was a sports enthusiast.
Survivors include a sister, Florence Krenkle of Mount Morris.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Rhoney Funeral Home, 5893 Hoover Road, Sanborn. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Niagara Falls.
