T. Henry Murphy, 78, of Raymond Drive, a professor at Niagara University and C.W. Post College, died Saturday (Aug. 22, 1998) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, after a brief illness.
He was born in Stockbridge, Mass. and served with the U.S. Army during World War II.
Murphy was a graduate of Boston University and received his master's degrees from Columbia University and New York University.
He taught business at Niagara University, Lewiston, from 1950 to 1956, and taught finance at C.W. Post College on Long Island from 1956 until retiring as professor emeritus in 1986.
Murphy was a member of the St. Peter's Holy Name Society and an usher of the church.
Survivors include his wife, the former Helen Touma.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 600 Center St., Lewiston, following services at 9:30 a.m. in Rhoney Funeral Home, Cayuga and South Ninth streets, Lewiston. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Stockbridge, Mass.[kwlk]
