Congratulations and kudos to Mike Groll for his mesmerizing photo, "Vigil at the Wall." I could hardly take my eyes off it, so much so that I put it on my refrigerator as a reminder of that awful Vietnam War, and for all who come to visit to see.
The photo, in its solemnity and silence, speaks volumes. The boots standing guard over the tragically lost souls of the Vietnam slaughter are as significant to me as the Marines raising the flag over Iwo Jima.
I'm sure Groll was lying on the ground to get this awesome perspective, and it is truly a historic moment in photography.
