The St. Joseph Hospital Foundation Advisory Board has elected Deborah A. Chimes president for 1998-99. She is an attorney with the law office of Kevin Walsh. Working for Downtown has elected Donna M. Gonser president for 1998-99. She is a certified public accountant with Lumsden & McCormick. Other officers elected are: president elect, Sandra Lubecki; vice president-administration, Diane Grant; vice presidents-program, Carolyn Murray and Melissa Miszkiewicz; secretary, Clare Myer; treasurer, Terry Buckley, public relations, Maria C. The Niagara Health Quality Coalition has elected Bruce A. Boissonnault executive director. He is chief information officer at Buffalo Niagara Partnership.

The Labor Law Section of the National Bar Association has elected Beverly Druitt its chair person. She is senior attorney in the National Labor Relations Board's Enforcement Litigation Division, Office of Appeals.

The Western New York Society for Coatings Technology has elected Chelsea G. Friedt of Chemcentral/Buffalo its president. Other officers are: vice president, Richard Clark, Sherwin Williams of Canada; secretary, Mark Markoff, retired, Spencer Kellogg Division of Textron; and treasurer, Theresa Winstanley.

North American Health Plans has promoted Tom Frizzell to senior vice president, and Karen Marsch to vice president-marketing and service. Promotions in the third party administrator department include: Margie DeGrace, claims manager; Melissa Mancuso, member services supervisor, and Kim Thompson, medical claims supervisor.

The law firm of Lipsitz, Green, Fahringer, Roll, Salisbury and Cambria has named Mark F. Steiner an associate. He will practice in the Workers' Compensation department representing compensation claimants.

Parker Bay Engineering in Amherst has hired William T. Wheeler as a civil designer/CAD operator.
