A Niagara Falls woman was placed on probation for five years Friday after she pleaded guilty in Niagara County Court to a charge of second-degree attempted robbery.
Dana R. DiLaura, 24, who lives in an apartment at 1100 19th St., also was ordered to undergo random drug testing and counseling. The sentence was handed down by Judge Charles J. Hannigan.
Niagara Falls police said Ms. DiLaura helped Jerry L. White rob the A Plus Mini Mart, 1911 Ferry Ave., Niagara Falls, Dec. 8. She pleaded guilty to attempted robbery on April 17.
Muhammed Khan, an employee of the Mini Mart, was injured when he was struck in the head with a rifle during the robbery. Court documents said White stole cash from the store.
White, 23, also of Niagara Falls, pleaded guilty to attempted first-degree robbery June 20 in connection with the holdup, and Hannigan sentenced him to three to six years in prison as a violent felony offender.
