Ray C. Jordan of Grand Island, retired owner of Modern Day Cleaners in Niagara Falls and Figglers Dry Cleaning on Grand Island, died Wednesday (Aug. 19, 1998) in Newfane Inter-Community Memorial Hospital. He was 74.

A native of Denver, he owned the Grand Island business for 25 years before retiring in 1993. He previously operated the Niagara Falls business for 10 years.

He was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II.

He was a former Niagara Falls resident and a member of the Feathers Shooting Club, Lewiston. His hobbies also included fishing.

He was the widower of Elaine I. Feeley Jordan.

Survivors include a son, Robert of Newfane; a daughter, Deborah Kaiser of Frisco, Texas; a brother, Wallace R. of Long Beach, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
