Rep. Bill Paxon, R-Amherst, will hold two local town meetings today.

At 2:15 p.m., Paxon will be at the Genesee County Courts Facility in downtown Batavia, and 4 p.m. at the Williamsville Village Hall, 5565 Main St.

The congressman, who is not seeking re-election, said this will be his final round of town meetings on issues that Congress may consider this fall. Among them is Paxon's call to abolish the IRS and begin a national debate on a new tax system.
