A Jamestown man faces a number of charges after he allegedly threatened a cab driver with a pocket knife, city police said.
Officers were called to the corner of Fairmount and McDaniel Avenues just after 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, when Roger Kinser, 54, of Lincoln Street allegedly refused to pay his taxi fare, threatened the cabbie and then ran. He was caught a few streets away.
While Kinser was being booked into the City Jail, he reportedly struck a police officer and was uncooperative. He was charged with menacing, theft of services, obstructing governmental administration and harassment.
