Floyd DiPastena, 57, formerly of Market Street here, who had worked as a barber for six years, died Thursday (Aug. 20, 1998) at his home in Geneva after a long illness.

He was born in Lockport and was a graduate of Lockport High School.

DiPastena had served in the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1964.

Survivors include four brothers, Joseph Jr. of Arizona, Paul of Syracuse, Michael of Alabama and Daniel of North Carolina; and a sister, Rosemarie Godffrey of New Jersey.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. today at the Gaul Funeral Home, Inc., 263 East Ave. Burial will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
