The music director of the Evansville Symphony Orchestra changed his tune about Carrot Top.

When the manic comedian with the wiry red hair was chosen to perform at Friday's reopening of the newly-restored Victory Theater, Alfred Savia, the orchestra's music director, criticized the decision and referred to Carrot Top as "declasse."

Carrot Top's pledge ("I can be as classy as they want me to be"), plus a little national publicity, was apparently good enough for Savia, who is thinking of going to Carrot Top's show with some friends.
