A motorcyclist remained hospitalized Thursday with injuries suffered in a collision with an all-terrain vehicle.
Chautauqua County sheriff's deputies said Stephen Kiendl, 50, of Thornton Road, Ellington, was riding his motorcycle along South Main Street Extension just after 1 p.m. Wednesday, when the ATV pulled out in front of him. Kiendl tried to avoid hitting the ATV, which was operated by a 12-year-old boy, but the cycle hit the back of it.
Kiendl, who was thrown from the motorcycle, was listed in stable condition Thursday at WCA Hospital. The youth was not hurt.
