DOMESTIC ARGUMENT LEADS TO FELONY ARREST OF MAN

Amherst police arrested a Redwood Terrace man late Wednesday after a domestic argument got out of control,
police said Thursday.

Vincent Dibble III, 42, of 41 Redwood Terrace, was arrested on felony charges of criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment and a misdemeanor charge of menacing after he threatened his 46-year-old girlfriend with a handgun during an argument at 8:46 p.m., Assistant Chief Frank Olesko said.

According to Olesko, the woman told police officers Dibble fired a shot through the ceiling and threatened to shoot himself and her during the course of a domestic dispute. Olesko said police found a bullet hole in the ceiling of the Redwood Terrace home and located the partially dismantled gun in the home.
