CAMELIA MULLEN, PROPRIETOR OF EAST SIDE MARKET

Camelia Mullen, 70, who was proprietor of the former Quick Stop Market at 1536 Jefferson Ave., died Saturday (March 28, 1998) in her Buffalo home after a long illness.

The former Camelia Powell, a native of Birmingham, Ala., moved to Buffalo in 1952 and worked in culinary department at Marine Midland Center until her retirement in 1976. She became proprietor of the Quick Stop Market in 1976.

She was the widow of the late Jimmie Mullen.

Survivors include a daughter, Yolanda of Buffalo; a son, Green B. of Buffalo; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Unity Church of God in Christ, 1551 Jefferson Ave. Burial will be in Forest Lawn.
